LAMBDA ST Lambda 2000 Aus einer Zeit vor der Wortspalterei Erik und Joris jagen durch einen Trail im Farn-Dickicht. Farn ist eine Pflanze, die es seit mittlerweile 400 Millionen Jahren gibt. Eine beachtliche Zeit, die auch für den biologischen Laien ein Indiz dafür sein sollte, dass er es hier mit einer ausgesprochen erfolgreichen Pflanze zu tun hat. Nicolai Rahmen gibt seit 1995, und das ist in Hinblick auf die junge Sportart Mountainbiken und deren starke Dynamik ebenfalls eine beachtliche Zeit. 1995 kannte man weder 4-X noch Freeride und wer von einer Enduro Runde sprach, der wähnte sich von 600 ccm Eintopf Geblubber angetrieben. Hätte vor 12 Jahren jemand gesagt, ich fahr jetzt eine All-Mountain Tour, oder ich geh auf den Slopestyle, hätten sich seine Kumpels vermutlich verständnislos an die Stirn getippt. 1997 gab es aber bereits das Nicolai Lambda, das Helius oder das BMXTB und man sagte damals, ich geh jetzt eine Runde Mountainbiken. Das Lambda, das Helius und das BMXTB gibt es immer noch, und damit gehen wir immer noch Mountainbiken. Und jeder fährt so, wie es im gefällt. But in 1997 we already had the Nicolai Lambda, the Helius and BMXTB and we would have just said that we were going for some mountain biking. The Lambda, the Helius and the BMXTB are still there, and we still just go mountain biking. We all just do it the way that we like it.
