Seine Geometrie ist für die Verwendung langhubiger Gabeln mit bis zu 150 mm Federweg optimiert. Sein tief abgesenktes Oberrohr, seine lange Front und das kurze, steife Heck prädestinieren das Argon FR für grobe, actionorientierte Einsätze auf knackigen Single Trails. Man sitzt aufrecht und entspannt und hat so eine optimale Kontrolle über das Bike, wenn es hart zur Sache geht. Rasante Trail-Ritte, Sprünge und technische Abfahrten sind mit diesem Gerät auch ohne Hinterradfederung kein Problem. Das Argon FR Heck bietet zudem ausreichend Platz für dicke Enduro- und Freeride-Bereifung. Dabei hat es das geringe Gewicht und den effizienten Antritt eines Hardtails. Ein Enduro-Fully ist auch bei ausgereifter, gedichteter Lagerung der Gelenke immer einem gewissen Verschleiß unterworfen, verstärkt bei Nässe und Matsch. Das Argon FR ist dagegen ein Sorglos-Bike, für das es kein schlechtes Wetter gibt – nur schlechte Kleidung. Nothing accelerates better or feels more lively. When two bikers are talking about fun then they‘re not necessarily talking about the same thing. Its lowered top tube, long front frame and the short, stiff, rear make it the perfect bike for action orientated riding on challenging singletrack. Fast trail rides, jumps, and technical descents are the strengths of the Argon FR, even though it lacks rear suspension.
